Keep in a perforated bag in the fridge for up to five days. Blanched beans can be frozen and stored for up to three months if you have a glut. Unfortunately, there is one possible negative effect to consuming broad beans – this is a condition called Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency; the common name for this condition is Favism
